All this happened on Whitecrest Beach in Wellfleet, Massachusetts.
A beached white shark was nearly saved by beachgoers; they had tied one end of a rope around its tail and a paddle-boarder carried the other end out to a boat to help tow it.
Unfortunately, the shark didn’t make it, but not for lack of trying on these people’s part.
