TURKEY: huge sharks boated by commercial fishermen

Some huge sharks were landed by commercial fishermen in Turkey into Mediterranean sea.


On the Mersin Province and huge  Bluntnose sixgill shark ( Hexanchus griseus ) of  16 feet - 5 metres in length and aprox 2000 lb or 900 kg in weight. This big shark was caught by a commercial fisherman near the town of Anamur.


An other big one come from Yalova Province, and also in this case was a : Bluntnose sixgill shark it was said to be 3,5 metres in length and 1300 pound - 600 kg in weight.
